Our strategy is to become a leading fertilizer company known for knowledge sharing. We in Yara Ghana believed that there is a relationship between the natural environment and the development of agricultural sector and therefore we strongly agree in the need to support programs geared towards promoting, preserving and conserving the natural environment for sustainable agricultural development.
The Minister of Environment Science & Technology said good environmental films should be used to educate the public on the importance of sustainable environment and stressed the need for pro-active measures to be taken to educate our people about dangers of environmental degradation. She also called on the Youth to participate in activities gear towards sustainable environmental management.
The Minister further make an appeal for technical and financial support from the international bodies to help control and educate the public on environmental awareness. Films which portray the problem and solutions to curb such problems should be encouraged.
Yara Ghana agronomic practices and activities around the world goes to ensure that our products helps further reduce the greenhouse emission from fertilizer use. We believe correct fertilizer application rate, split applications and appropriate timing have significant effect of fertilizer efficiency and the environment as a whole.
