  •
  • The Yara Crop Nutrition Approach
The Yara Crop Nutrition project is  a consolidation of many years work in building knowledge within Yara.

We aim to deliver knowledge margin bringing value in the Downstream business and differentiating Yara’s product offer.

By being present locally, the knowledge of crop segments and nutritional requirements in Yara means we can optimize at market interface as well as in the production system. This is unique in the fertilizer industry and makes Yara different in our approach to end-user.

We position our knowledge in 3 defined areas:
  1.  Crop focus – which nutrients are required, in what amount by the crop at which physiological stage
  2.  Product portfolio – what is the best array of products to meet this nutritional demand for optimal yield and quality
  3.  Application competence – how should we apply the portfolio of products for best return on investment

Applying the right amount of the correct product, at the time needed by the developing crop brings the best results for growers, and profits to our customers :
  • Right product – for the grower’s crop and local business model
  • Right amount – for economic return to grower shared throughout the value chain
  • Right Time - to minimize environmental impact and economic losses of nutrient
